It’s art update time! My apologies for not having one last week — I didn’t do much art that week prior, so there wasn’t anything worth sharing.
Anyway! On to the art!
So! I got the October Art Snacks box and it came with a bottle of yellow ink, so I figured I’d give ink another try by using it and some other inks I’ve had laying around. It turns out that ink is a very quick and very fun medium to do sketches in. I love how vivid the colors are.
The other day, I was riding around town with my mom, and I saw this scene sitting in the middle of the river by our house. I rather liked how the log looked sitting on a rock, so I sketched it from memory.
I’m still, albeit very slowly, poking around with ideas and concepts for these comics I have in mind. Comics are a lot more complicated than I appreciated before, so I’m just taking my time to learn all the skills at a pace that’s fun for me.
